BYOKList is a directory of AI tools that work with your own API key. It is an independent project by Denis Leonov, a software engineer and indie maker. It is not affiliated with any AI provider or with the tools listed.

What qualifies

• The product lets users enter their own API key from an AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, Mistral and others), or connect to their own local models.
• The website says so clearly, on the main page, pricing page or docs, and explains how the key is used.
• The product works and is available to the public. Free and paid products both qualify.
• Key resellers and products that only use their own built-in AI do not qualify.

How listings are checked

Every listing is reviewed against the product's own website before it goes live: BYOK support, supported providers, platforms and pricing. Links are checked regularly. Tools that shut down or stop responding move to the archive instead of disappearing.

Makers submit tools through the submission form, which has a small review fee to keep out spam. The fee pays for the review, not for a positive one: tools that don't meet the rules above are not listed. Listing links are normal links; any paid placement is labelled.
