Submit your tool

Your website must say clearly, on the main page, pricing page or docs, that users can bring their own API key, and explain how the key is used. See the listing rules.

What happens next

  1. We check your site for BYOK support and the providers you accept.
  2. We write the listing, take a screenshot and publish it, usually within a few days.
  3. Your page appears on the homepage and on every matching provider and category page.
  4. Add the badge to your site if you like, and track visits from ?ref=byoklist.com.

Questions

Do paid apps qualify?

Yes. Free, freemium, one-time purchase and subscription apps all qualify, as long as users can bring their own API key (or connect their own local models) and your site says so.

How long does the review take?

Usually a few days. We check your site for BYOK support, write the listing and take a screenshot. If your tool does not qualify, we will tell you why; the review fee is not refunded.

Are the links followed?

Standard listings link to your site with normal links and add ?ref=byoklist.com so you can see the visits in your analytics. Featured placements are marked as sponsored, as search engines require for paid links.

How does Featured work?

Choose Listing + Featured when you submit. We review your tool against the same rules as every listing; once it goes live, it also sits at the top of the homepage and of its provider and category pages for 30 days, labelled Featured, and then stays listed as usual. If it doesn't qualify, we refund $14 and keep the $4.99 review fee. Already listed and want Featured? Message @d3liaz.
