About Kallamo

Kallamo is a desktop studio for roleplay and long-form writing with a chat, a manuscript desk, worldbuilding pages and a memory that share one canon. After each roleplay reply its Narrative State engine records the scene, time, inventories and what every character knows, so each character answers only from their own perspective. You connect your own provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, OpenRouter, Ollama, LM Studio or any compatible server); requests go directly to it with your key, and keys are encrypted at rest on your machine. Kallamo is free and AGPL-licensed for Windows, macOS and Linux.
