About Verenu

Verenu is a hold-to-talk dictation app: press a hotkey, speak, and it transcribes the audio, cleans it up with an LLM at one of four levels and types the result into whatever app has focus. Transcription runs on your own Groq, OpenAI, Google or AssemblyAI key, the cleanup model is chosen separately, and you can use a local model instead; audio and text go straight to the providers you picked, never through a Verenu server. API keys are kept in Windows Credential Manager or the macOS Keychain, and the MIT-licensed app has no subscription.
