Besidka is an open-source AI chat client, built on Cloudflare Workers, that lets you connect your own OpenAI or Google AI Studio API key and pay the provider's published rates directly with no subscription fee or markup. It supports switching between GPT and Gemini models in one interface, plus web search, reasoning mode, image generation, file attachments, chat branching, shareable chat links, and an autonomous deep research agent that runs on your own key. Chat history and files are stored in your own Cloudflare D1 database and R2 bucket, and the MIT-licensed source is available for self-hosting on your own Cloudflare account. The hosted version at besidka.com is free to use, with all AI usage billed directly by the provider at its published rates.
