About OpenDocBot

OpenDocBot is a Microsoft Office add-in that lets an AI agent summarize and draft in Word, analyze data and write formulas in Excel, and build slides in PowerPoint, with an optional approval step before edits are applied. It follows a Bring Your Own Key model: you connect an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek or OpenRouter, or a local runner like Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible server, and the add-in runs fully client-side so documents go straight to that endpoint. The code is source-available on GitHub under a fair-code license, free for individuals and teams of up to 30 users.
