About Whytap

Whytap puts voice dictation, an AI agent, notes and small utilities in the MacBook notch, one hover away. It has no account and no Whytap servers: you add your own keys for speech and language models (Soniox, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic or your own OpenAI-compatible server), keys stay in the macOS Keychain, and audio and text go only to the provider you chose for each feature. It is free and MIT-licensed, for macOS 14.2 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel.
