About Wavefunction

Wavefunction is a desktop coding agent for macOS built around a single conversation: it splits work across subagents, each on its own branch or worktree, lets you steer them mid-task and can use a computer inside a local Docker container instead of your own desktop. You can use your own Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI, OpenRouter or Vercel AI Gateway API key, sign in with a ChatGPT Plus or Pro plan, or run models locally with Ollama, LM Studio or another OpenAI-compatible server. It is free and MIT-licensed, and conversations and settings are stored on your computer.
