About Zed

Zed is a high-performance, open-source code editor written in Rust with a built-in agent panel and inline AI edits. Under "Use API access" you can connect your own keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google AI, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI, OpenRouter and other providers, or point it at local models in Ollama and LM Studio. Keys you enter in Zed are stored in the system keychain rather than in the settings file.
